Results of OGC’s biggest Innovation Initiative in 2021, Testbed-17, are now available

Public Comment Requested on Draft Charter for new OGC Climate Resilience Domain Working Group

The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) seeks public comment on the draft charter of the proposed OGC Climate Resilience Domain Working Group (DWG).This requires agreements on metadata aspects for discovery, application programming interfaces (APIs), and resource models for interaction with the climate resilience information system.The OGC Climate Resilience DWG should work in line with the United Nations climate policy frames.The Draft Climate Resilience Domain Working Group Charter is available for review and comment on the OGC Portal.Comments are due by May 11, 2022, and should be submitted via the method outlined on the OGC Climate Resilience Domain Working Group Draft Charter’s public comment request page.

Developers Invited to the May 2022 OGC Space Partitions Code Sprint; Sponsorship Opportunities Available

The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) seeks public comment on the candidate OGC API – Routes – Part 1: Core Standard and related candidate OGC Route Exchange Model Standard.The candidate OGC API – Routes Standard specifies the fundamental API building blocks for interacting with on-road route resources, and uses the Route Exchange Model to represent routes.OGC API Standards are developed in a modular way, meaning that their functionality can be added to existing web APIs as desired.Work on the OGC API – Routes Standard began in the OGC Open Routing Pilot.The candidate OGC API – Routes – Part 1: Core Standard and candidate OGC Route Exchange Model Standard are available for review and comment on the OGC Portal.
